Fernando Torre

Fernando‘s interest in woodworking and drawing manifested in middle school, later becoming hobbies, and recently passions.  Although Fernando has not pursued pottery making, his interest in American Indian art took him to Acoma, NM where he completed a traditional pottery class with Dolores and Emma Lewis, daughters of Lucy Lewis, one of the matriarchs of Acoma pottery. In the last few years, woodturning has become his main interest after taking classes from masters such as David Ellsworth and Christian Burchard at the Anderson Ranch Arts Center in Snowmass, CO. He currently lives in Boulder, Colorado.
